Strengthening the Stevenson Brand – Building Unity and Engagement
The merger of Fulton Hogan and Stevenson quarries was an opportunity to unite two teams under a shared identity. Stevenson aimed to foster a connection to the brand by creating a sense of belonging and engagement across all sites. The goal was to build a positive, cohesive workplace culture where everyone felt part of something bigger.
To define the Stevenson values, we held interactive workshops with employees to explore each value and translate it into meaningful behaviours. Using employees’ own language and examples, we captured the spirit of Stevenson’s diverse workplaces. We created a vibrant visual identity to represent these values and encourage team connection.
The result was a relatable set of Stevenson behaviours aligned with corporate values, making employees feel more engaged and connected to the brand. We designed energetic, flexible illustrations to represent each value, steering away from photography to avoid stereotyping. Where appropriate, we used images of team members to add clarity and relatability.
The new Stevenson REAL values reflect the core of the team’s identity and vision for the future. With a clear set of values, Stevenson has built a culture that brings them to life every day, across the entire organisation.
